Welcome! I am an experienced psychologist who is dedicated to working with adults and couples in their struggles with anxiety, mood disorders, trauma/PTSD, grief, life transitions, and relationship issues, among other mental health concerns.

I am a licensed psychologist who works with adult individuals and couples across the State of California. I have extensive experience using evidence-based treatments, including CBT, ACT, and DBT, with a wide range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, grief, stress reduction, life transitions, and relationship issues. I am committed to respecting the worth of all persons, including those with differing abilities, races/ethnicities, gender identities, and the LGBTQIA+ community.

My work with couples facilitates greater intimacy, builds trust, and improves communication. This work is rooted in the science of attachment, and I use gold standard treatments to enable fundamentally different ways of relating to one another, thereby removing relationship roadblocks and transforming conflict into deeper connection.

While completing my doctorate in psychology at Harvard University, I conducted research focused on the science of happiness and posttraumatic growth. These bodies of knowledge inform my practice today. I then completed a postdoctoral respecialization at the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco, CA, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University Medical School. Both of these experiences afforded me further opportunities to invest deeply in learning the latest scientific research on effective psychotherapy, ensuring that my work with you will consist of the best practices in the field.
