I have a number of 8 years experiences with anxiety, depression, and relationships.

Immediate Openings! Hello, I am Holly Doughty, LPC. I am a licensed therapist and I do participate in the National Board of Certified Counselors which is the NCC behind my name. I have an analogy for how I guild my clients through the process of therapy. My clients are in the drivers seat of the car with me in the passenger seat, helping direct and guild the drive to their goals for treatment. The reason, I like to think about it this way is, I like my clients to feel empowered to make the best decisions as possible. I also believe clients would like my non judgmental free stance in therapy.

When I am not playing goose (wink! wink! nudge, nudge-should out to the Top Gun movie), I play a doctor on TV. Just kidding. But I do have a bit of a dry sense of humor and I do use humor a lot as it is a healthy coping skill. My personal style of therapy as well is to be a bit more direct (but gently when I do) because I don't want to take your money for something I know I can help you with.

I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Psychology and Human Development at University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. I graduated with my Master's in the Art of Counseling from Lakeland College. While going to school, I continued to work in the field of behavioral health-majority of the time with autistic children, in which case I do have a few more years in this field but I have been practicing as a licensed therapist for the last 8 years. I have in-depth training in many therapeutic modalities including: Eye Movement Desensitization and Recovery (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, EFT work. I do have experience with Substances Abuse as I do hold my SAC-IT until February 2023 but I won't be taking the test due to changes in the requirements for the state.

I work with adults, teens, preteens, and children. I have appointments for individual sessions and couples as well. The primary area of focus would be individuals who have depression, anxiety, panic and stress, relationship issues, PTSD, and trauma.

I am accepting insurance, private pay or out of pocket.
