I am a licensed professional counselor who has worked in the field for over 22 years. I am independently licensed in the sates of Missouri and Kansas. I hold an LCPC in Kansas and an LPC in Missouri. I specialize in working with people who have had traumatic events, creating barriers to them experiencing life to the fullest. I help individuals come to terms with trauma, manage their thoughts and feelings and create exuberance in their lives. I work with Couples to help them get past trauma and learn to create shared meaning in their relationship. I work with people who are struggling to live their lives to fullest due to gender dysphoria.

Sometimes we experience life changing events that cause us lose sight of our hopes and dreams. Our fears can deceive us into believing that we will never be okay again. We do not have to be defined by what has happened to us. I believe that no matter what we have been through we have the potential to create for ourselves, a happy, rich and full life worth living. It is not easy to overcome the bad experiences but it is possible. Therapy can increase psychological flexibility and allow us to not be open again. If you are tired of being limited and ready to make real changes therapy can help you create the life you wish to have. My practice serves clients from 9 to 99. I work with individuals, couples, families and veterans. I serve people of all ethnicities, genders, sexualities, and abilities. I seek to help people feel whole. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional I use the latest methods of healing trauma. Therapy methods used include ACT, CBT, DBT, FFTT and Mindfulness.
