About me
I am a licensed child & family therapist and educator that specializes in helping families and individuals deepen their relational connections, find healing from traumatic experiences and strengthen their inner resilience.
I like to think of myself as a no frills therapist. It's real talk, genuine compassion, and some really helpful research-backed tools, strategies and insights for changing the way we experience the world around us. I have seen countless clients find their way out of some really dark and confusing places, and navigate their way towards a life they feel really good about.
EXPERIENCE AND PASSION
I started this work out of a passion for working with kids. I spent years dedicated to service projects and programs all around the world in places like India, South Africa, Cambodia and Nicaragua. I learned to love and appreciate the many different expressions across cultures. I also recognized how connected we all are and how vital our childhood family and community is to our wellness as adults. Eventually, I landed in the deepest healing work of therapy. I since have co-founded a non-profit that trains other caregivers around psychological trauma and resiliency and also engage with equipping the next generations of mental health caregivers at the graduate level.
CONNECTING THE DOTS
I love what I do. And I love seeing people and kids at their best. My approach to helping you get there is pretty straight forward.
Together, we collaboratively connect the dots.
I help to make sense of past experiences and current behaviors & patterns.
I help connect you to your whole self - Mind, Body and Spirit. All are interconnected and important to healing and thriving.
I help connect you to your strengths, some that you didn’t know you had.
I help connect you to better relationships with those in your circle.
I hold hope for a future where you feel good about yourself and what you bring to the world, where you find the resilience to navigate life’s hurts and hurdles, and where you find out what a badass you can be.
