About me
I bring both passion and understanding to clients centered around LGBTQIA+ populations, trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and addiction. I feel that it is important to understand how our past experiences impact our present way of functioning. I find it important to help clients increase awareness of their thoughts, emotions and what is happening in their bodies, so they can honor these sensations and move through their distress.
Above all, I hold space for clients as they process what they need. I ask challenging questions to help clients look deeper within themselves, while maintaining a safe, warm environment. I also help clients identify core negative beliefs and harness their strengths to create the relationship with themselves and others they deserve.
I am a human first and connect with my clients in this way. I use a trauma-informed, person-centered, holistic approach to help clients feel comfortable, safe, and empowered in their sessions. I use therapeutic modalities to treat mind, body, and spirit, including but not limited to DBT, CBT, and EMDR.
