Hello my name is Esther Alasa and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University where I got my Masters in Mental and Clinical Health Counseling. I received my B.S in Psychology with a minor in Child Development. I have experience with Play Therapy, Trauma-Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT, and Person-Centered therapy.
Life can be hard and sometimes we just need someone to sit down and listen to us to help guide us through this journey of life. I am here to listen and offer insight through any problems. I am personable and aim to have a great, open, and comfortable relationship with my clients. My desire is to establish a positive and trusting rapport with each individual I come across with. I’ve worked with a variety of populations and do not discriminate. I have experience in counseling kids and adults who have experienced traumatic and/or life-changing events.
I once was diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and suicidal. I had to see a therapist who was able to aid in developing skills that’ll bring light to areas that were dark. I have been in the seat of a client and understand the roles from both ends. I look forward to hearing from you, helping you accomplish everything you want to achieve and help guide you to a healthy space in life.
​In my spare time I like to travel, try new food, relax, watch Netflix and just find new adventures to engage in.
