About me
Enid Candelaria-Vega is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor from Puerto Rico currently living in Virginia. Enid works with issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal problems, and life changes. Her clinical experience includes over 15 years working across telehealth, short and long-term treatment, intensive in-home counseling, psychiatric hospitals, law enforcement, community-based settings, and multicultural communities. Enid has a bachelor's in Social Work from Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico and a master's in both Mental Health Counseling and Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Enid’s experience includes a hands-on solution-focused approach, re-framing, mindfulness, goal setting, and positive self-talk. She utilizes a variety of theoretical perspectives — such as CBT, person-centered, and EMDR therapies — and incorporates integrated care and creative techniques to make the therapeutic process comfortable, safe, and non-judgmental. We all go through life changes and challenges — bright days and dark days, ups and downs. Enid is confident that she can support you on your journey to gain new perspectives and practical ways to cope with the challenges and changes you are facing.
