About me
Moments of unhappiness or dissatisfaction are inevitable but don’t have to be permanent. When working with clients, I believe it is important to identify what’s not working. However, identifying the problem does not solve the problem. To fix a problem, change needs to happen. During therapy, I work closely with my clients to identify where change can occur and what changes are going to create the best outcome. My goal for my clients is to function better in their daily lives.
Throughout my career I have been excited about applying evidenced based interventions to help my clients improve the quality of their lives. My particular interest is in helping people develop healthy coping skills to deal with depression, anxiety, and relational conflict.
I started my career as a licensed psychologist at Mid-Ohio Psychological Services where I completed my post-doctoral training under Dr. Hedges. For the last few years I have worked at Fairfield Community Health Center (a Federally Qualified Health Center), initially as a staff psychologist and most recently as the Director of Behavioral Healthcare.
