About me
I believe each person has their own pace, and am willing to find therapies and strategies that work for you. My approach is: open minded, trauma based, cognitive, and holistic. My modalities of expertise are: CBT, DBT, Solution focused, and person centered. I am straight forwarded and honest, but allow clients to lead where they want to go.
I started my career in psychology and counseling when I experienced a suicide in my family. It gave me the courage to make changes for myself, and help people around me who were also suffering grief, loss, and depression. I'm an advocate of mental health issues, a proud adoptee, and a supporter of the arts. I have a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been working with individuals, teens, and families for over 10 years.
