I have over 20 years of counseling experience and have worked with a variety of populations and issues, some of which include career counseling, substance abuse counseling, parenting issues, and working with clients on how to develop coping skills to improve their mental health well-being.
The primary focus in my practice is helping others who may be struggling with stress or anxiety, including anxiety based diagnoses such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Social Phobias or general phase of life stressors. Today's world has plenty of stressors and I find that these populations work very hard on doing everything but taking care of themselves. Making that first call is a big step, but taking care of yourself, emotionally, is so important. My role is to support and encourage you through your struggles and partner with you in making the changes you want to see.
