I'm so glad you came across this page. I'm a licensed therapist dedicated to helping people navigate anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and major life transitions. I'd love to hear from you to see how I can help.

Each of us has a story to tell and I'm here to listen to yours, to provide a safe, caring space to reflect on your experiences and create lasting positive change that matters most to you. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is key, and while asking for help can feel intimidating or overwhelming, you don’t have to do it alone. I believe that struggles and stresses don't have to define who you are, and prior experiences and patterns don't have to dictate the future.

Whether you're seeking support to help cope with a stressful life transition or crisis, improve the quality of your relationships, or manage your mental health, together we'll work to recognize and build upon your strengths and resiliency and develop healthy ways for creating greater happiness, wellness, and fulfillment. Every client is unique, so my approach will be individually tailored to you, your reasons for seeking help, and your specific goals. I incorporate CBT, strengths, psychodynamic, attachment-focused, and mindfulness-based approaches. Therapy can provide a chance to gain a deeper understanding of behaviors, thoughts, feelings, and patterns, and how they interact to shape our sense of self, our choices, and how we engage with others and the world. Cultivating such insight can help us heal from past hurts, become un-stuck, and move towards meaningful change, our best selves, and experiencing life to the fullest.

Personal beliefs and background:
I believe every life has tremendous value and everyone who seeks support should be able to access it. Asking for such help can feel hard and even scary. Too many are left to navigate life's challenges alone and it should not be this way. I believe that everyone is capable of change and deserves support, as well as to feel heard, seen, and valued. Learning how to shift thought and behavioral patterns is challenging, but it is also absolutely possible.

I have worked with people of all ages, for many years as a teacher in the NYC public schools before making a shift to therapist. I started my journey providing therapy to adolescents in school suspension sites, and then to employees of a large hospital system. Today I am part of a small group practice and truly love the work I do, with clients from different backgrounds, life stories, strengths, challenges, and personal goals.

Please reach out if you think I can help. I'd be honored to be a part of your life journey.
