I am a dedicated therapist, driven to help my clients overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

We’re all only a few decisions away from getting where we want to be and sometimes we need a little push to get us moving. I take a coaching approach to counseling, utilizing tools from CBT and solutions-focused therapy. I like to spend time getting to know my clients and gain an understanding of what they want – not only out of counseling, but what they want out of life. We don’t always necessarily know exactly what we want, we can feel lost or unsure of our next steps, but we know something has to change. I enjoy working with my clients to figure these things out. Together we can determine not only what you want, but how to get you there.

Beginning therapy can be a scary process, but it doesn’t have to be! I promise all of my clients to show up as my authentic self, in an effort to make you feel more at ease in our work together. And therapy can be fun, too! My goal in our work together is twofold: 1. To help you get to know and understand yourself better; and 2. To challenge you to get outside of your comfort zone to strive for your greatness.
I work with people dealing with anxiety, stress, life transitions, depression, career and performance/focus challenges.

I grew up in the Bay Area (California) and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from San Francisco State University. After college I lived in New York City for many years and earned my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College. I love exercise, I find it therapeutic and satisfying; I’ve run a few marathons and might do a couple more. A lot of my free time goes to hiking, especially after moving to Arizona! And I'm slightly obsessed with my dog Koda :)
