About me

I am an experienced licensed counseling psychologist, providing teletherapy services in Pennsylvania. I am dedicated to helping adult clients, ages 18 and over.

I am interested in learning about you and your needs, whether they be moods, stressors, losses, challenges, parenting, and/or relationships. I enjoy including your pets in therapy if that would help make your online sessions more relaxing. Establishing goals with you within the first few sessions is an integral part of my practice with clients. I provide a safe and judgmental-free space for you to process what issues you may be facing. A treatment plan will be developed with you, which will be tailored to your personal preferences. I offer skill sets to help clients develop coping methods for difficult situations. Should the need arise, I provide referrals to other specialists within the helping professions. Confidential, interactive sessions are my priority and I welcome questions regarding therapy methods, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, client centered therapy, reality therapy, narrative therapy, etc. I live in the city of Philadelphia where I was born, however I have served in rural and semi-rural counties of PA over my 30-plus years mental health career. I have enjoyed serving all ages in hospitals, out-patient clinics and private practice offices. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I am providing morning, afternoon and evening teletherapy appointments. Normal sessions are one hour, with the initial session lasting approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Kutztown University in Kutztown. PA. My interests outside of work include traveling, walking in nature, art, nature photography, reading historical fiction, sharing meals and new restaurants and recipes with family and friends.
