About me
I would love to connect with you if you think I might be a good fit. I offer in person sessions as well as Telehealth sessions. I am approved by EMDRIA in EMDR, Certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP)and is Co-Occurring Disorders Competent (CODC). I work with adolescents, women, adults, couples and the active duty/military population as well as their dependents.
Are you struggling to cope with the effects of trauma or other stressful life events? Are feelings of anxiety and depression preventing you from living a full and meaningful life? I enjoy and have experience working with individual coping with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, stress and the many life challenges that sometimes might have you not feeling like yourself. I specialize in evidence based behavioral health treatment approaches for adolescents and adults.
I am committed to helping you reconnect with your strengths and establish resilience towards navigating the challenges of life. By working together to identify and change the thought processes and behaviors that perpetuate these problems, I can help you to achieve meaningful improvement in your symptoms and quality of life. It is incredibly important to establish a therapeutic rapport with you. In my practice I also believe that it is important that the therapist provide an authentic, empathic, and positive regard to assist the client in developing the skills necessary for change and growth.
I provide therapy in the areas of EMDR, dialectic behavioral therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy for PTSD, stress-related conditions, anxiety and depressive disorders, and emotion regulation difficulties. I will make therapy a personalized process in which you know that you are supported.
