About me
I help people with chronic illnesses reduce fatigue, reclaim their social lives, and find joy in their relationships again. All sessions are done via video. Call the number on my profile for a free consultation.
Fibromyalgia, muscular disorders, arthritis, EDS, PCOS, and gastrointestinal issues. If you have any of these, or any other chronic illness, chances are you’ve been frustrated a time or two… or more. And it’s likely you went several years without a proper diagnosis, and might even still question your diagnosis from time to time.
If doctors tell you therapy might be beneficial, do you immediately think “they’re saying it’s all in my head?” If so, I get it. In our work together, we take a hard look at society’s expectations and assumptions and our own internalized ableism. Breaking down systems rather than just existing within them, especially our medical system, is something I’m passionate about and bring into sessions.
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Somatic Experiencing, aiding us in figuring out your personal meaning and purpose in life. We work to help you move in the direction of your goals without feeling exhausted and burned out. It’s this approach that helps reduce the impact of fatigue, regain your social life, and find true work-life balance.
I work with people who want to find more motivation, emotional stability, and feelings of self-worth despite living with a chronic illness.
