About me
I am an experienced LCSW that works with ages 5-65 in the Woods Cross area of Utah. My agency treats depression, anxiety, trauma, and eating disorders. I employ therapists that are working on getting fully licensed and supervise students from the U of U in the social work program.
The practice involves myself, one therapist on staff, and 2 students from the U of U. In the fall of 2023 we will have 2 more students from the Weber University. The practice is open Monday thru Friday with many scheduling options. We offer a variety of treatment from CBT, DBT, IFST, EMDR, etc. and find that by using different modalities we can find solutions and change. The practice believes that everyone is capable of change and want to offer a nonjudgmental environment to all those we serve.
There are issues that we cannot always share with a friend, parent, co-worker, and even a spouse. Those issues can be shared discreetly and privately through the therapeutic process. By allowing complete confidentiality we offer our clients the ability to change without shame and the ability to have a strong foundation of starting fresh. We believe in everyone's ability to have a full, wholehearted life.
The agency offers group as well as individual, couples, and family therapy. The group is usually focused on women and women's issues. We use the Brene Brown outline for the "Gifts of Imperfection." This group allows for a vulnerable and authentic connection to those in the group.
