I am Registered Mental Health Intern. I am trained in EMDR which I use to help clients with anxiety, self-esteem, grief, PTSD and other mental health issues.

Hi, I am Deneen Wiggins a Registered Mental Health Intern who graduated from Bethune-Cookman University with a master's degree in counseling. I am under the supervision of a licensed clinician. After retiring from the Philadelphia Police Department, I moved to Florida to retire but I decided to become a counselor and have worked with a non-profit agency for four and a half year in the mental health field prior to starting my own counseling services to continue being of service to others. I am trained in EMDR (eye movement, desensitization, reprocessing) which is a technique using eye movements to help clients process traumatic events. EMDR also helps with self-esteem, depression, anxiety, grief and other mental health issues.

I work with clients dealing with the daily stressors of life and past life events that are still affecting them today. During the first session we will discuss what brought you to therapy. The next session together we will devise a plan to address those issues which will help you become a better you.
