About me
I am an experienced licensed marriage and family therapist and substance abuse counselor who is dedicated to helping adults and adolescents learn how to manage their addiction or learn how to cope with issues such as anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, grief and loss.
I am also a TBRI practitioner with experience working with adolescents with a history of trauma and substance abuse issues. Based on the individual needs of each client, I employ therapeutic approaches to include Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral, TBRI, Mindfulness, Strength-based and Solution-Focused. It is my belief that every client has the right to feel safe and that the foundation of the therapeutic relationship is felt safety. Therefore, I work to create a therapeutic partnership with my clients and ensure that every client feels valued and respected.
