About me
Specialty Clinician who thrives when working with individuals and families dealing with Psychosis.
I have 20 years of experience working with some of the leading Psychosis experts in the country in both clinical and academic research settings. This has afforded me some of the best opportunities to train in new, innovative therapies that I use in my therapeutic setting.
One of my favorite parts about working with people who have Psychosis (and their families) is educating them about Psychosis and showing them that there is life after Psychosis. There is hope. A key goal of my therapy is getting people to a place where they are equipped with tools, resources, and habits that allow them to move forward with a recovery-oriented life.
My individual sessions are almost all done In-Person, because I have found that this is the modality that works best for helping those living with Psychosis. For Family sessions, it is often hard to get everyone in the same place at one time, so this is when I utilize Virtual sessions the most. Everyone can simply join in the session from wherever they are.
I am also an LPC Supervisor -- meaning I am available to provide Supervision to those who are working on their LPC Associate hours to fulfill the State's requirements for full LPC licensure. If you are interested in this, please get in touch with me!
