About me
I am a casual and warm therapist, focused on developing relationships as a tool to breaking out of old bad patterns. I've worked (individually and in groups) with clients struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues, focusing on client strengths and resources. I am also provocative, using humor to facilitate change.
I work with people who have struggled with substance use and trauma, stress and depression, working with clients to get unstuck from old patterns that cause unhappiness. My experience has been that clients find the right answers and resolve their own issues, once they are able to talk through their struggles and look at them in a different way. My clients may struggle with addiction, anxiety, or trauma - we work for them to be able to "get out of the rut" they've been stuck in. So consider taking the jump and reaching out to me. We will know pretty quickly if we are a good fit, and it may be the best few hours you've spent - moving you out of the muck and toward your goals.
