About me
I love working with children - of all ages from 0 to 99 - and focus on supporting healing, growth, and forward progress in life. My clinical counseling work is founded in Positive Psychology with strong orientations to human development and brain-based strategies. Some areas of specialization include Attachment Disorder, Autism, and Trauma.
Dr. Darleen Claire Wodzenski is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Developmental Interventionist who is an author, professional trainer, and national presenter. Dr. Darleen uses gentle and evidence-based strategies to support healing and recovery from anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and other behavioral and mental health challenges. Her work includes a Developmental Framework and Curriculum to support recovery of children with Reactive Attachment Disorder and Disinhibited Social Engagement Disorder. She has developed a Fluid Trauma [TM] process that helps people recover from traumatic experiences in a way that is gentle, loving, and supportive. Dr. Darleen also works with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and neuroatypicality. Also a Certified Special Educator and Professional Parent Trainer, she works to support families in accessing IEP and Section 504 Special Education and Intervention support.
