About me
I am an experienced therapist with over 25 years of dedication working with children, adolescents, and adults across the developmental and life span including those struggling with chemical dependency, addiction, and short mid, and long-term recovery issues and transgender and non-binary persons in the various stages of social and or medical transition and integration. I work with those who struggle with anxiety and depression and co-occurring issues and addiction issues often complicated by trauma and family dysfunction. I view my therapy from a holistic and spiritual perspective, utilizing CBT, INF, Trauma-informed care and practices, and various other modalities including shamanic practice, energy medicine, and expressive arts.
I am a clinician, who is also transgender, working with all persons and ethnicities. I view my practice from both evidenced practices of, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Based Therapies, Internal Family Systems, and from a holistic and spiritual perspective with a focus on addressing the goal of overall well-being and developing and maintaining balance through both evidenced-based and holistic practices( ex. shamanic practices, energy medicine, and expressive arts.) I believe in meeting the person where they are and working in tandem with them to achieve greater wholeness, balance, and presence while building coping skills and strategies to embrace life challenges and gifts.
