About me
I've completed over 10,000 hours of therapy with individuals, couples, and families. Most of my clients are individuals who are interested in help with relationships, depression, anxiety, trauma, and other issues. I also work with a lot of couples who are wanting to fix immediate problems in the relationship. I use a Brief Solution-Focused Therapy approach with most clients, and the majority of my clients are better after fewer than 15 sessions.
My methods are backed by decades of research and over a decade of experience. I use assessments and data to track progress. If you want a traditional therapy experience with practical results, this is what I offer.
My Typical Session:
I’ll give you the space to talk about what’s not going well and help you identify strategies to make it better. You’ll gain more understanding about the issues you’re facing and find hope and encouragement to make a change. I try to give my clients "something to think about and something to do" at each session.
My Typical Client
I work best with people who feel that talking about their problem helps them identify solutions, who are generally ready to do something to make their problem better, and who are willing to accept new ideas. I have been fascinated with how people change my entire life, and I feel honored to partner with my clients as they work through difficult times.
