Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist experienced in working with couples and individuals around relationship issues in families and the work place.
I have been licensed by the state of California for over 40 years and have a vast knowledge of various modalities that I can draw from to individualize your therapy. I am experienced in both individual and couples therapy and have found that Telehealth sessions work as well as in person as the studies show. I am happy to do a 15 minute session before you commit to signing on with me where we look at the issue that is currently happening and what you would like it to be like instead. Then, if I am familiar with your issue and you feel comfortable with me, we can set up a session. People want to know how long therapy will take. The answer depends on the issue and how willing you are to be honest with yourself (and your significant other if it's couples therapy), but I have been doing this for a very long time and have found my unique method that seems to shorten the time needed in general. We can discuss more of these details in our 15 minute session before you decide to work with me. I believe that the relationship between the therapist and the client and the trust built is the primary deciding factor of how well the therapy goes and look forward to meeting with you.
