About me
If you are struggling with chronic health, anxiety, depression, self-esteem or relationship issues or see your teen or child hurting in a life phase, I am a counselor dedicated to walk beside your or your family member through difficult times into hope and coping. I work with children whose homelife has changed through foster care, adoption, separation or divorce and help them find safety. I work with teens who turned to self-harm and help the find relief and coping strategies that are healthy. I work with teens and adults with chronic illness to support them through long-term suffering, not feeling seen or heard - and find physical, mental and spiritual relief.
If you are dealing with chronic pain, anxiety, depression, or relationship issues, I would be honored to walk beside you & help equip you for life's challenges. Often, that means being able to identify strengths you already have and don't own yet. My mission is to help you improve your emotional well-being and give you tools to enhance your personal relationships and achieve your life goals. 17+ years of teaching gives me a unique perspective working with kids, teens, and adults. I offer an eclectic, personalized approach tailored to each of my clients. I encourage you to take the next, brave step to reach out to learn more.
I integrate person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, play therapy, TF-CBT, ACT, and family systems. For those wanting a Biblical perspective, I provide that as well . I am a member of the American Counseling Assoc, Assoc for Play Therapy, FL Mental Health Counselors Assoc and American Assoc of Christian Counselors.
My role as a counselor is to restore hope, create a safe space for you to face challenges, highlight your strengths, and help you make meaning out of circumstances and choices. I will design an individualized treatment plan to meet your needs and help you accomplish your goals. I look forward to meeting you in whatever season you find yourself.
