CHARMAYNE ALEGRIA, LCPC
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
Meridian, ID
In-Person
About me
I am an experienced therapist dedicated to helping people cope with anxiety, depression, grief, illness, pre- and post- partum depression and anxiety, and the unexpected challenges to starting a family.
I was lead to counseling through my own personal struggles. I am a two time cancer survivor, have two daughters conceived through IVF, and mourned the loss of two through miscarriage.
It’s okay to not feel okay and I am honored to be allowed into your life; to hear your story, and to walk beside you on a path to hope and healing.
I largely practice cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and exposure response prevention (ERP) however, if the situation calls for a different approach, I will incorporate other treatment modalities.
I am naturally a person-centered therapist but have become more eclectic through experience and continued education. Counseling should fit you and not the other way around.
This is your opportunity to say whatever you are thinking and feeling in a safe space, without judgement. It is not for getting advice but for helping you to recognize the answers for yourself and to learn the skills necessary to improve your every day functioning outside of counseling.
