About me
If you find yourself excessively worrying, anticipating something terrible is about to happen, you are not alone. Living in a state of fear causes depression, impacts physical & emotional health, employment, relationships and contributes to poor quality of life... If you've tried avoiding things that make you anxious, talked to friends, researched ways to help yourself & nothing has worked. Whether your symptoms are triggered by an experience, trauma, a Chronic Illness/Chronic Pain, you probably know by now that it won't go away on it's own. The right therapist can make a difference... I've been practicing for over 12 years, with training from the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy, for treating Anxiety & Depression. I'm certified in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy for Chronic Pain & Mindfulness Meditation. I view therapy as a collaboration between us; together, we'll determine the approach that works best for you. My goal is to help you develop a greater understanding of your circumstances, establish trust in yourself, gain healthy coping skills & learn new ways of working with the symptoms that are preventing you from living the life you imagined.
