About me

I am a clinical social worker with 22 years of experience in the mental health field. I am passionate about combining traditional approaches to psychotherapy with my training in yoga and Ayurveda in order to offer my clients a wide variety of tools for optimizing their physical, mental and emotional health.

When was the last time that you felt truly listened to, heard and understood? You more than likely talk to many people throughout your day but how often are you making connections with other people that feel real and authentic? Many people currently are feeling isolated, especially post-pandemic, even when surrounded by others because they do not have someone in their life creating a warm, welcoming and safe space that allows them to feel comfortable enough to share their worries and struggles. Therapy can be this place, where building a trusting relationship with a compassionate and experienced practitioner can not only allow all parts of you to be seen, but can also support improvements in your physical, mental & emotional health and well-being.

I am a clinical social worker and yoga teacher who works alongside individuals, couples and families to treat a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress management, substance abuse and life transitions, such as becoming a new parent or entering retirement. Even after 20+ years working in the mental health field, I am inspired by the courage I see in those who seek the support of a therapist and I am always honored to be someone’s guide in learning more about themselves and creating a life that matches their desires for themselves. As I get to know you, we will explore together a variety of brain-based exercises, lifestyle changes and body-based practices, such as breathwork and gentle movement. This process will help you build a unique toolkit to support you now and to help you enjoy improved well-being in the future.

I understand that beginning therapy is a big commitment and so I am happy to offer you a free 15-minute introductory call during which we can see if we are a good match to work together and you can ask me any questions that you may have. Please reach out to me via phone or email and I will respond to you within 48 hours. I look forward to hearing from you!
