About me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with children, teens, and adults dealing with stressors, including behavioral issues, emotion regulations, anxiety, depression, trauma, and just life. I am trained in DBT, TF-CBT, CPT, and Parts and Memory therapy.
I have always wanted to help my community, but I didn't know where to start. After starting my path perusing the medical field, I quickly realized that my heart was not in it. I took an interest in psychology, particularly in an undergrad MFT class, where it felt natural for me. I ended up graduating with my bachelor's degree at UNLV in Psychology with a minor in Family studies. I then began my masters program at Touro University Worldwide where I received my degree in 2021. I have been practicing therapy and have been seeing clients since my last year in school, which was in August of 2020. I opened my private practice, A Place for Feelings LLC, in 2021.
I am excited to work with clients who are struggling and need a helping hand, or ear. Together, we prepare to handle your storm and wait for the rain to pass.
