I am an experienced licensed professional mental health counselor. My practice is focused on working with individuals and couples to develop and encourage inner strength, resiliency, self esteem, emotional connection , healthier attachment and to heal developmental trauma .

I am a depth oriented therapist. I specialize in helping people heal the underlying causes of anxiety, depression, and many of the symptoms that bring people to therapy. I bring a sensitive, compassionate, insightful and intuitive approach to the therapy experience. Being fully present is a quality that allows my clients to be fully heard and understood. I know that we all have inner healers and my goal is to guide you to that place within yourself. I utilize mostly mind body approaches including mindfulness, Coherence Therapy, Internal Family Systems and other attachment oriented methods as well as EMDR , an approach for healing trauma.
People describe the progress they make in therapy as being able to handle negative emotions that occur in relationships with less reactivity . Feeling more centered and grounded in their approach to everyday life and being able to be generally more compassionate towards themselves and others. People also describe a sense of lightness and ease as they release negative core beliefs.
