About me
Helping facilitate healing and self-exploration, while reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression
The human experience can be difficult and strange to navigate on your own! The things you have seen and been through does not make it any easier. I work with clients that have gone through emotionally painful and distressing experiences. This can include physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, or anything that has left you feeling hopeless or insecure. Most client's I work with are looking for ways to cope with life's difficulties, gain a stronger relationship with themselves, and begin to heal.
I can help you to dive into your past so you can shift how you see yourself and the world around you in the present. Through a systemic approach, I will help you explore your sense of self in relation to those around you, in your original family system and your current system. We will utilize mindfulness-based practices to guide you through awareness towards your true self and increase a sense of groundedness; a homeostasis between mind and body. I have specialized training in trauma resolution and facing uncomfortable emotions. I am also trained in a technique called Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This helps facilitate the brain's natural healing process and helps relieve distress from difficult memories. It is time to take your life back and show up as the person you are at your core.
