I am a passionate psychotherapist who emphasizes educating my patients in how to build the resources they need to cope effectively and navigate daily life challenges. I am trained in EMDR and ART, modalities that prioritize addressing trauma at the source. I love being able to be a part of my patient's healing process and see them achieve their therapeutic goals.

At my private practice, Novo Counseling and Wellness, PLLC, I provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for you to learn, grow, and gain confidence. Novo is the Latin word for "renew, refresh, and revive" which is how I hope every patient I work with comes to feel about themself and their experience in therapy with me. I recognize that every patient is unique and I tailor my approach to meet each person's specific needs. My main focus is in the treatment of trauma with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy and Accelerated Resolution Therapy. I also address anxiety disorders, depression, phobias, self esteem issues, relationship difficulties, boundary setting, life changes/transitions, and emotion regulation issues. I have training and experience utilizing a variety of modalities such as CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, Ego State and Structural Dissociation Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Trauma Informed Yoga, Mindfulness, and much more. In addition, I utilize an Emotion Focused Therapy perspective for my work with couples to address communication difficulties and help couples build safety and connection.
