About me

Brian holds a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Walden University and is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in the state of Arkansas (# A2401024). He is also approved for telehealth counseling through a HIPPA compliant video counseling platform.

Brian operates from a person-centered perspective, which means he views people as inherently positive with the power to self-formulate solutions when given support, acceptance, and the right environment. He also views people and relationships through an attachment lens, which means he sees humans as hard-wired for connection with others. Brian sees change in therapy taking place through new “felt experiences” that have potential to shift one’s relationships with self and others.

Have you reached the point where something HAS to change in your relationship? Do you find yourself fading into the background of your own life, feeling less and less in control of where your life is going? Maybe fear of failing, or fear of being alone, is beginning to run your life. Do you keep trying to figure out why things just don’t feel right but any “fix” just ends up being temporary? One way or another, what you’ve been doing isn’t working…you feel stuck. This is not a fun place to be. Maybe things aren’t that bad, right…or maybe you are just worn out from holding it all together.

What can therapy do that we/I haven’t already tried, right? There is logic in your responses to the places you feel stuck. Attachment therapy, like EFT, tells us that more balance/resilience in emotions, openness in decision-making, and flexibility in taking action is possible through the work you do in therapy. I've seen these incredible changes in clients.

I work with couples and individuals using models like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT & EFIT), without judgement, who are ready to look closely at these stuck places. I will be with you, support you, accept you, respect you, and be there to hear the most painful parts of your story. When you are ready, I am here.
