About me
I am a licensed psychologist dedicated to helping adults with anxiety and depression, as well as those managing cognitive challenges associated with neurological conditions.
I have a warm, collaborative approach to providing psychotherapy and cognitive rehabilitation, and I am dedicated to helping adults cope with anxiety, depression, and cognitive challenges. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients to strengthen their cognitive skills and promote positive changes in their lives. I am a psychologist leading the Maryland branch of the Centers for Cognitive Wellness (CCW), which was founded in 2012 by Sherrie All, PhD to fill the treatment gap for adults who have been diagnosed with cognitive problems. CCW has been helping people with Concussion & Moderate Traumatic Brain Injury, ADHD, Mild Cognitive Impairment/Early Dementia, and virtually every other type of neurological condition. We help clients implement treatment recommendations, adapt to their diagnoses, and adopt compensatory (and occasionally restorative) cognitive rehabilitation interventions. Prior to joining the Centers for Cognitive Wellness, I enjoyed a 30-year career in clinical research investigating cognition and brain health in the Veterans Healthcare System. I offer treatment informed by a deep understanding of the emotional and social impact of cognitive issues on one’s relationships and daily functioning.
