About me
I am a skilled, compassionate and caring clinician with 16 years of experience providing psychotherapy to a wide range of people in different settings. I take pride in my demonstrated ability to retain my clients, for as long as they need help and to see them return, should they need help after termination. At Power Counseling PLLC, I took time to select the other four therapists that work with me. Together we help adolescents and adults find the healing that they need when they face mental health challenges. We provide individual, couple, family and group psychotherapy in an environment that is safe and relaxing.
My clients call me Dr. Zubbie or simply Zubbie. They find me simple, accessible and helpful. They tell me that I am a good listener and easy to deal with. This helps me build the relationship with them that helps them keep coming. For us at Power Counseling PLLC, making clients feel comfortable is something of a culture. It's the first step as we seek to build the kind of relationships that make them feel safe and cared about. Because we are many we are able to offer our clients wider options of treatment modalities and methods, including pastoral counseling. Whether you have anxiety or depression, or have relationship difficulties, or deal with compulsive or impulsive disorders, you will find a therapist in our practice who specializes in that. Our primary treatment modality is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) but we also use other methods as adjunct to ensure that at the end of the day, you find the healing that you need, as soon as possible.
