About me
My counseling approach is client centered. Using traditional or optional expressive approaches, clients discover increased self understanding while opening new roads for healing, empowering the self. Expressive approaches include, art making, collage, sound, meditation, journaling, among others.
For over 25 years I've worked with clients who have been experiencing a variety of challenges. Most have underlying trauma expressing itself in a multitude of ways; anxiety, depression, body image, substance abuse, & self harm. Many have experienced loss, grief and have difficulty transitioning to a new stage in life. Trauma and loss have increased in our current world. As a response, I've expanded my client base to address the myriad losses, and the resulting trauma many people are facing today.
