About me

My passion is working with adults who have trauma or bipolar disorder. I also love working with couples and non-monogamous relationships on issues like communication and emotional connection.

If you are looking for help with your relationship, you've come to the right place. Maybe you fight all the time... or maybe you've become so disconnected from each other, you don't fight at all anymore, just passing like ships in the night. Either way, things need to change - and fast. I use the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to reduce conflict and increase your attunement to one another.

Are you worried you might be judged because of your "alternative" lifestyle? Not here! I am kink-aware and affirming towards consensual non-monogamy.

If you have bipolar disorder, you are no stranger to being misunderstood. Even mental health professionals don't always have the right information to help you. You need a specialist, and I can fill that role. We can work together on recognizing episode warning signs and creating coping techniques. I use CBT and psychoeducation to help you manage the ups and downs.

Finally, trauma can negatively affect you on a daily basis, creeping its way into every area of your life. People who experienced trauma can have high anxiety, persistent depression, intrusive thoughts, a sense of not having an identity, and significant relationship issues. EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) can be really effective in alleviating these struggles.

A bit about me: I came to the United States as a Russian immigrant at 18 years of age. I had to learn how to forge my own way in a strange country where I had no family or friends. I will never forget that experience, and I use it to motivate myself to be the best therapist I can be. While I offer plenty of gentle empathy for my clients, I also challenge them when appropriate. Together, we set goals and work hard to make them reality.

I work hard to make sure my clients get what they want: healing, insight, clarity, and growth. All I ask from my clients is a motivation to change and a willingness to hope. If you have that, then we create something beautiful together: a new way forward for you.
