I am an experienced licensed clinical psychologist who cares deeply about creating a compassionate space where you can learn more about yourself, experiment with new ways of thinking and feeling, and re-connect with the things that bring you joy.

Sometimes life starts to feel heavier, or just plain hard, and you lose touch with your joy or purpose. Maybe you've been feeling down or more stressed, or you're struggling with a difficult transition or decision. You might have noticed some distressing patterns in your life and you’re ready to take control and learn the tools and skills you need to make healthy changes. Therapy can help you reconnect with yourself, re-engage with life, and get you moving in a direction you can be proud of.

My hope is that therapy can be a compassionate space where you can explore your identity and feelings without judgment and learn how to re-engage with life. I can help you learn tangible tools to manage distressing thoughts and feelings in the day-to-day, while also doing the deeper work of understanding yourself more fully and fostering long-term healing. My approach combines techniques from psychodynamic therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which together offer the opportunity for both insight and change: understanding who you are and how you got here, and identifying action steps you can take to bring meaningful change to your life. My therapeutic style is warm and nonjudgmental while also transparent and candid.

In my practice I help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, life stress, self-esteem concerns, insomnia, and relationship issues. I dedicate a substantial portion of my practice to helping people navigate challenges specific to the LGBTQIA+ community. If you think we might be a good match for working together, please reach out to me via e-mail or phone. I look forward to hearing from you!
