I am a native New Yorker who is passionate about authentic, transparent, and culturally competent care. I am a Certified Grief Informed Professional (CGIP)/previously known as Certified Grief Counseling Specialist (CGCS) with a special focus on grief and loss. I welcome clients who have suffered from depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, and PTSD. I know firsthand how painful and life-changing bereavement can be and would be honored if you allow me to join you on your journey.
*** Please be advised that I provide tele-therapy. In order for us to work together, your insurance will have to provide coverage for tele-therapy or you will have to pay the standard rate per session. If you are interested in working with me, please reach out to me via e-mail.
Like many therapists, I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach. I take the time to understand you as an individual and build rapport with you in the therapeutic process. I utilize evidenced based practices such as CBT and DBT and tailor each intervention to your specific needs. In my free time, I enjoy finding delicious dairy free desserts to consume, spend time with loved ones, and finding a solid Netflix show to watch. My favorite show is The Golden Girls!
