I am a psychotherapist located in Washington, DC who offers individual, couples, and group therapy. I enjoy helping people live authentically and thrive in all areas of their lives. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques, but collaborate with each individual to create a space that best suits one’s unique set of needs and goals. My therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, and appropriately challenging. I am also a 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, and incorporate mindfulness and body-based approaches in therapy where it is appropriate.

Our bonds and connections to each other provide us with an anchor and give our lives a sense of meaning and purpose. This process starts as soon as we are born, and continues on for the rest of our lives. It is within the context of relationships that trauma occurs – abuse, neglect, abandonment, betrayal; And it is through relationships that we have an opportunity to heal those wounds and live richer, fuller lives. Through long-term depth work psychotherapy, my clients can address their trauma, re-learn new patterns of relating to others, and ultimately thrive within their communities.
