About me
Addiction specialist with nearly 20 years of experience focused on personalized recovery.
I’m an addiction specialist who has been working with clients with co-occurring disorders, family members and those battling various forms of addiction for nearly 20 years. I’ve worked in all levels of care throughout the years and find that building a lasting trusting relationship with solid rapport is a key component for those seeking recovery. I specialize in combatting shame and guilt associated with addiction while helping individuals build the life they’ve only dreamed of and certainly deserve! While learning healthy, effective coping skills and creating new routines, I support clients in building realistic relapse prevention plans. I believe that support in recovery is essential and encourage families involvement in order to build long lasting foundations for sobriety. I use a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR Motivational Interviewing and Internal Family Systems. As the wife of a first responder, I have a keen interest in helping first responders recover. I’ve received specialized training in trauma and addiction treatment for first responders and find that it is my true passion.
I whole heartedly believe our behaviors serve a purpose and at some point, we grow tired of our maladaptive behaviors. Counseling is a perfect first step in exploring behaviors and working toward a healthier, happier lifestyle. Im happy to walk alongside you in this journey.
