About me
I am an experienced licensed clinical psychologist dedicated to helping my patients build a life worth living.
As a licensed clinical psychologist, I provide individual, couples, and family therapy. In addition, I also provide consultation and supervision for provisionally and fully licensed therapists. My extensive experience allows me to work successfully with a diverse array of patients. I utilize a number of different approaches, integrating research and best practices to meet the needs of the individuals with whom I work. My training, experience and diversity of approaches allow me to work successfully with children, adolescents and adults.
My work with patients begins with an initial consultation for which I do not charge. This meeting is a time for the patient to let me know what s/he/they is looking for and also for us to determine if we will work well together. If we determine to continue working together, an individualized plan is developed in collaboration with the patient. When warranted, contact with schools or other professionals is utilized as needed to support progress in treatment.
If I believe a patient will be better served by another provider, I have a large network of very qualified and experienced psychologists, social workers and licensed counselors to whom I refer. In addition, if a medication evaluation or services are needed, I can provide referral information for psychiatrists and APRN’s. Whenever possible, I collaborate with primary care providers to ensure the most integrated care possible.
I am on panel with a number of insurance providers. In addition, I am certified under APIT to provide telehealth in states with approved PSYPACT legislation.
