About me
I am a licensed professional counselor within Pennsylvania that has vast array of experience and dedicated to treating mental health; including not limited to: depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, family conflict, stress, and relationship concerns. I am also very versed in treating/helping someone recovering from drug/alcohol matters. Age range from 14 and up.
Hello! My name is Alyssa Zelsnack, and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) through the state of Pennsylvania. I have a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling that was earned in 2018 from Marywood University. I have experience working in outpatient settings, namely, substance abuse and mental health for the past 8 years. My main approach to therapy is Person-Centered therapy, where my role is to provide a warm and supportive atmosphere and to assist an individual finding solutions to their problems by themselves. I also use techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mind-fullness based, Motivational Interviewing, and family/martial approaches to help improve an individual's mental well being. Time spent with me will be focused on moving forward and developing techniques to live a more well rounded and fulfilled life.
