About me
We all know need more self-care, but few of us really know what it is that means. I help clients evaluate what they need to improve their quality of life and identify what is blocking them, whether it is establishing better boundaries, slowing down, building more self-compassion or learning the practice of mindful living. Most of us can benefit from reflection, learning to put space between emotional responses and reactions; and can use a break from thoughts. I help clients evaluate their inner narratives and empower them to build a life that honors their core value system and personal uniqueness.
I work with many adolescents, teenagers and individual adults, both male and female. My modalities primarily are CBT and DBT, with a strong concentration on mindfulness and positive affirmation skill training. My areas of focus include: anxiety, self-compassion, self-harm and trauma. I work with clients who have non-traditional relationships and jobs.
I consider myself sex-positive and gender affirming. I work closely with the LGBTQIA+ and queer community. I am also an avid animal lover, tattoo addict, passionate scuba diver, cheese connoisseur and world traveler.
