About me
“Therapy is about understanding the self that you are. But part of getting to know yourself is to unknow yourself – to let go of the limiting stories you’ve told yourself about who you are so that you aren’t trapped by them, so you can live your life and not the story you’ve been telling yourself about your life.” Lori Gottlieb.
The foundation of this quote is the support and guidance I want to provide to each person that walks through my doors. As humans we are great at getting in our own way of healing. We limit ourselves to though comparison, fear, anger, trauma, resentment, and a variety of other feelings. I want to help you in sparking optimism and hope that recovery and healing are possible. I use trauma informed interventions, Emotional Freedom Techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and/or Motivational Interviewing to support you in exploring your limitations, emotions, and trauma that might be getting in the way of your healing.
I believe that each person has their own ability to make big changes and find fulfillment in their life with the right tools. If you are in a place where you are ready to make a change, you will be amazed at how capable you are to unleash your own answers toward healing and recovery.
If you are ready to explore healing and wellness, please contact me.
