About me
I am passionate about fostering a space where every individual can feel seen, validated, and challenged with warmth and kindness. I work primarily with adults and have a special interest in trauma, OCD, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, attachment wounds, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs).
My undergraduate degree is in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Vermont. After undergrad, I worked in a residential substance use and mental health treatment center for three years, serving families from the perinatal period through their children’s fifth birthday.
During my Master’s education at the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill, my skills were developed even further with special focus on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy (PAT)— serving as one of the founders and co-chairs of the PAT caucus, and holistic treatments for PMADs.
Currently, I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), parts work, self-compassion, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Mindfulness-Based Interventions. In my free time, I enjoying spending time in nature with my rescue pup Rocco, and crafting (my current craft is beading)!
