I offer counselling and therapy for individuals from different cultural backgrounds. Sessions are available in English and Cantonese.
In terms of my own professional training and qualifications, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Counselling. Besides, I am a somatic Bodynamic Therapist, which is a somatic psychotherapeutic approach specialised for trauma. I am also a registered counsellor of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and Approved Counselling supervisor in Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association (HKPCA)
I bring over 30 years of professional experience in social work and counselling. I began my career working in a wide variety of social service settings. Working with people from diverse backgrounds and life circumstances has shaped my grounded, compassionate approach.
In the later stages of my career, I have been placing my focus on individual counselling, aiding better life and personal growth. Despite being born and raised in Hong Kong, I have also lived and worked in Canada and UK for several years, which has equipped me to support international clients from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.
My work focuses on parenting, relationships, stress management, emotional disturbance and trauma. I work integratively, tailoring therapy to each person rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
