About me
I work along aside people who are carrying too much—emotionally, mentally, and physically—and are ready to stop just surviving and start feeling like themselves again.
Healing does not happen in isolation—and it does not require you to “push through,” minimize your experiences, or carry everything alone.
I work with adults who are navigating the lasting impact of trauma, anxiety, emotional exhaustion, and major life stressors. Many of my clients are survivors of domestic or sexual violence, high-functioning professionals, caregivers, or individuals who appear strong and capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or depleted internally. If you have spent a long time in survival mode—holding things together for others while neglecting yourself—you are not broken, and you are not alone.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in the W.H.E.N. framework: Wholeness, Humility, and Enlightened Navigation.
Wholeness acknowledges that you are more than your trauma, diagnosis, or circumstances. Therapy is not about “fixing” you—it is about reconnecting you to all parts of yourself, including your strengths, resilience, and inner wisdom.
Humility honors the reality that healing is not linear. Together, we approach your experiences with compassion, curiosity, and respect for your pace, without judgment or pressure.
Enlightened Navigation focuses on helping you develop practical tools, emotional insight, and boundaries that allow you to move through life with greater clarity, safety, and confidence.
In our work together, I prioritize creating a therapeutic space that feels emotionally safe, collaborative, and empowering. I use trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches that may include cognitive and behavioral strategies, somatic and body-based regulation, values-based work, and skills for emotional grounding and nervous system regulation. Sessions are structured enough to provide direction, yet flexible enough to meet you where you are each day.
I am especially attuned to the needs of clients who:
Have experienced domestic or sexual violence and are working to rebuild safety, trust, and personal agency
Struggle with anxiety, hypervigilance, or emotional shutdown
Feel burned out from caregiving, leadership roles, or high responsibility
Carry guilt, shame, or self-blame related to past relationships or trauma
Find it difficult to rest, slow down, or prioritize themselves without feeling uneasy
Therapy with me is not about reliving trauma for the sake of retelling it. Instead, we focus on helping your mind and body feel safer in the present, strengthening your capacity to cope, and supporting you in making choices that align with your values and well-being.
I believe healing happens when clients feel respected, believed, and supported—without having to prove their pain or earn care. My role is to walk alongside you, offer guidance and tools, and help you reconnect with a sense of steadiness and self-trust so that life no longer feels like something you must endure alone.
If you are ready to move beyond survival and toward a life that feels more grounded, intentional, and whole, I would be honored to support you in that journey.
What to Expect in Therapy
Starting therapy can feel uncertain—especially if you’ve had to stay guarded, strong, or self-reliant for a long time. My goal is to make the therapy process feel clear, collaborative, and emotionally safe from the very beginning.
In our work together, you can expect:
A supportive and respectful space
You will not be pressured to share more than you are ready to. Therapy moves at your pace, and your boundaries are always respected. We focus on building trust and safety before exploring anything that feels emotionally heavy.
A trauma-informed, whole-person approach
Sessions are guided by the understanding that trauma impacts both the mind and body. We will work with thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behaviors in ways that support regulation, grounding, and long-term healing—without forcing you to relive painful experiences.
Structure with flexibility
Each session has a clear focus, while remaining flexible to meet your needs in the moment. Some sessions may involve skill-building and practical tools; others may focus on emotional processing, reflection, or nervous system regulation. Both are valuable parts of the healing process.
Practical tools you can use outside of sessions
You may learn strategies for managing anxiety, grounding during emotional overwhelm, setting boundaries, and navigating relationships more safely. These tools are designed to support real-life situations—not just the therapy room.
Collaboration and empowerment
Therapy is not something done to you—it is something we do together. Your insights, goals, and lived experiences guide our work. Over time, the focus shifts toward strengthening your confidence, self-trust, and ability to navigate life with greater clarity and stability.
Compassionate accountability
Healing involves both gentleness and growth. I offer honest feedback and guidance while honoring your humanity and capacity. Progress is measured by increased awareness, steadiness, and choice—not perfection.
A focus on moving forward, not just understanding the past
While we acknowledge how past experiences shape the present, therapy centers on helping you feel safer, more grounded, and more empowered in your current life. The goal is to support meaningful, sustainable change.
Is This Therapy Right for You?
This approach may be a good fit if you:
Are a survivor of domestic or sexual violence seeking safety, healing, and self-trust
Feel emotionally exhausted, anxious, or stuck in survival mode
Are high-functioning on the outside but overwhelmed internally
Want therapy that is trauma-informed, respectful, and collaborative
Are looking for both emotional insight and practical tools you can use in daily life
This therapy may not be the best fit if you are seeking highly directive, rapid-change treatment without space for emotional processing, or if you are not ready to engage in reflective, collaborative work at this time.
Choosing a therapist is an important decision. My hope is that this space feels grounded, supportive, and aligned with where you are in your healing journey.
Life is not meant to live or done-alone, so let's do it together.
