About me
Empowering BIPOC women to heal, reclaim their stories, and thrive through culturally responsive, trauma-informed therapy that honors your lived experience.
You don’t have to carry it all alone. At Lotus Trauma Care, we are a team of trauma-informed therapists dedicated to helping BIPOC women feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healing journeys. We are a diverse group—each of us bringing our own style, passion, and expertise to the work. What unites us is our shared commitment to creating a safe, affirming space where you can reclaim your story and reconnect with your power.
We know trauma doesn’t always look like trauma. It can show up as anxiety, self-doubt, people-pleasing, staying busy, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others. Many of our clients come to us carrying the weight of generational wounds, high-functioning stress, or the exhaustion of navigating systems that were never built with them in mind. We see you—and we honor the courage it takes to reach out for support.
Our approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. We believe you are the expert of your own life. Our role is to walk beside you—offering insight, tools, and education to help you make sense of your experiences and move forward at your own pace. We draw from evidence-based practices like trauma-informed talk therapy, mindfulness, and body-based healing—always tailored to your unique needs and strengths.
We specialize in supporting BIPOC women navigating:
🍃Racial, generational, and complex trauma
🍃Anxiety and emotional overwhelm
🍃Burnout and perfectionism
🍃Self-worth, identity, and inner child healing
🍃Depression
🍃Hyper independence
Healing isn’t linear, and every step matters. Whether you're celebrating growth or just making it through the day, we’re here to walk with you—reminding you that you are not alone, and that your resilience is real and powerful.
Our work is grounded in our core values:
☀️ Cultural Humility & Inclusion – We honor your identity, community, and lived experiences.
☀️ Empowerment – We help you challenge internalized narratives and build self-trust.
☀️ Accessibility – We offer virtual therapy, flexible payment options, and group support formats.
☀️ Integrity – We lead with honesty, fairness, and respect in every interaction.
Outside of sessions, we practice what we teach—finding joy in music, movement, journaling, family, rest, and connection. We know that caring for ourselves helps us show up fully for you.
If you’re ready to begin—or deepen—your healing journey, we’re here. You deserve care that sees all of you: your struggles, your strengths, and your dreams for the future.
