About me

I am an experienced social worker who is dedicated to helping women, children, families, and individuals cope with anxiety, depression, anger, as well as everyday struggles with work, school, family, and cultural struggles or expectations.

I am a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 24 years of experience. I have a Master's degree in Social Work from Boston University. Born and raised in New York, I was brought up in a traditional, immigrant family where hard work and diligence was emphasized. My background, education, and experiences have helped me develop a unique, bicultural perspective and approach to help people from various cultures, backgrounds, and beliefs. I believe it is important to have someone you can talk to, confide in, and seek guidance, who understands these unique circumstances. I am fluent in English and conversational in Cantonese.

I work with individuals with anxiety, depression, stress, family conflicts, and relationship issues, as well as everyday challenges or conflicts. I also work with people who have ADHD, autism, as well as cultural and generational conflicts. I combine cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, and psychodynamic approaches. I tailor goals and treatment plans to your needs.

Clients can expect a warm, open, and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to a more balanced and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in the process. Email me for a free 15-minute consultation. I look forward to working, as well as listening to your perspective and story.
